“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Faith Struggles
Recovery. Rest. Unforced rhythms of grace. Living freely and lightly.
These are the promises of Jesus to every person who walks with Him.
the Journey of Faith
We are inherently spiritual beings, created by God. Which means our “spiritual life” is intricately intertwined with all other aspects of our lives – regardless of whether we recognize it. The journey of faith can be beautiful and breath-taking. It can also be messy and hard. It might be the right time in your journey to gain the additional support of a therapist if:
+ you’re searching, questioning or doubting
+ you’re struggling with your church experiences
+ you’re feeling burned-out, lonely, or unsure in your ministerial work
+ you’re needing to clarify your sense of calling
+ you’re wanting to strengthen your faith and values
+ you’re becoming hindered by unresolved pain
mental health + faith
One of the main reasons Inner Shalom was formed was to offer services that integrated mind, body, and spirit. Your faith is integral to your mental health and your mental health is integral to your faith. In counseling, we aim to be a fellow sojourner in your spiritual path with Christ, and connect or reconnect you with what - and Who - is most important so that you can lead and live a life that is resilient and God-gloryifing.
seeing you through
the struggles
We support pastors, vocational ministers, missionaries, the every-day Christian, and the curious & exploring in stepping more into the “free and light” that Jesus offers.
